Mineral Ridge Gold is redeveloping a historic Nevada gold operation under private ownership. We're assembling a small, experienced leadership team to build it right — from the ground up.
Mineral Ridge Gold (MRG) is advancing a historic gold operation in Silver Peak, Nevada. Backed by private ownership, the company is built on disciplined execution, modern mining practices, and a long-term outlook — free from the pressure of public markets or investor timelines.
The project is in a critical growth phase. A new mill is under construction, site infrastructure is expanding, and we are selectively adding experienced leaders who want to build — not just maintain.
The initial phase focuses on reprocessing approximately 70 million tons of historical leach pad material, providing a stable production foundation while exploration advances across the broader property. Once Mineral Ridge is established, this leadership group will apply the same model to future projects in the portfolio.
MRG offers a competitive package built for professionals who are serious about their craft. On-site housing and meals, a company vehicle, and flexible scheduling are designed to make life at Mineral Ridge genuinely workable — not just tolerable.
The Mineral Ridge site sits in a uniquely positioned corridor of the American West. Carson City and Las Vegas are each roughly 3–3.5 hours away. The Bishop and Mammoth Lakes area is even closer — putting world-class skiing, climbing, fishing, and backcountry just over the California border. Whether you want a city weekend, a powder day at Mammoth, or to disappear into the Eastern Sierra, you're well within reach from wherever you choose to base yourself.
Mammoth Mountain is one of California's premier ski destinations — with one of the longest seasons in North America, often running into June. The surrounding Eastern Sierra offers world-class granite climbing, blue-ribbon fly fishing, high alpine camping, and the iconic John Muir Trail. Bishop is a well-equipped outdoor town with strong community and solid services. Note: California has state income tax, but for outdoor-driven professionals, the access is genuinely hard to beat.
Many Nevada mining professionals base themselves in Reno or the Carson Valley and rotate to site. Reno offers a regional airport with direct flights across the western U.S., major healthcare, universities, and a growing dining and entertainment scene. Carson City, Minden, and Gardnerville are quieter — with community character, direct Lake Tahoe access, and Sierra Nevada views. Both come with Nevada's zero state income tax.
For professionals who want to minimize the commute and live close to the work, Tonopah and Hawthorne are classic small-town Nevada — lower cost of living, short drives, and strong communities built around ranching and mining heritage. Tonopah is known for some of the darkest night skies in the continental U.S. — a genuine draw for anyone who's spent time there.
Las Vegas is a practical and popular base for mining professionals on rotation schedules — a major international airport, competitive housing market, and no state income tax. Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, and the Spring Mountains are all within 45 minutes. For candidates with families or frequent travel needs, Vegas offers infrastructure that smaller Nevada towns simply can't match.
With ~32 employees on site, Mineral Ridge runs on experience, not headcount. Every leader carries real scope and works closely across construction, process, environmental, and maintenance.
If you're an experienced mining professional drawn to a privately backed Nevada operation with real scope and a long-term vision, we'd like to hear from you.
